Terms of Service

Effective 12 August 2026

1. Who we are

DonoryHelp is the online giving platform at donoryhelp.org, operated by Stichting International Refugee Humanitair Help (Stichting IRHH), a Dutch stichting registered with the Kamer van Koophandel under number 66378966 (RSIN 856523495), Kepplerstraat 9, 2562 VE 's-Gravenhage, Netherlands. Contact: info@donoryhelp.org.

2. The service

DonoryHelp lets organizers create verified humanitarian campaigns and lets donors make voluntary gifts. Campaigns are donations, not equity, loans, or investment products. We provide staging, identity and document review, Stripe payment rails, and transparency tools. We do not guarantee that a campaign will reach its goal or that an organizer will use funds exactly as hoped; we require truthful representation and may freeze or refuse activity that fails review.

3. Accounts

You must be legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. Organizers and donors authenticate with email. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts for fraud, abuse, sanctions risk, or breach of these terms.

4. Organizers

Before a campaign can accept card gifts it must complete the organizer agreement, identity and document checks, Stripe Connect onboarding, banking-name match, and admin launch review. Organizers warrant that identity, story, budgets, and progress reports are accurate. Raised gifts must be used for the stated purpose. Each open phase is capped unless Premium terms apply. The next phase unlocks only after fund-use evidence clears.

5. Donors

Gifts are voluntary and, subject to fraud or payment-network reversals, treated as irrevocable donations to the organizer. You receive no shares, profit share, or guaranteed return. Minimum gift amounts and available payment methods are shown at checkout. By confirming a gift you accept the Donor Free-Will Gift Agreement presented in checkout.

6. Payments, fees, and Stripe

Card and local payment methods are processed by Stripe. DonoryHelp does not store full card numbers. Stripe deducts its processing fee first. DonoryHelp then retains five percent (5%) of the remaining net as platform commission. The organizer receives the remainder on their Stripe Connect balance, subject to holds, reviews, and payout rules. Published Stripe EEA card rates are estimates; the fee on a given gift is the amount Stripe actually charges.

7. Refunds, disputes, and holds

Because gifts are donations, refunds are not routine. We may refund or reverse a payment when required by Stripe, card networks, law, or a confirmed fraud or policy breach. We may delay payouts while we review a campaign, bank change, or dispute. Chargebacks are handled under Stripe’s rules; organizers remain responsible for representing their campaigns truthfully.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use DonoryHelp for illegal activity, hate or violent causes, weapons, scams, money laundering, sanctioned parties, impersonation, or any campaign that would violate Stripe’s restricted-business list. We may remove content and report activity to authorities or payment partners.

9. Intellectual property

DonoryHelp marks, software, and site design remain ours or our licensors’. You keep rights in content you upload and grant us a licence to host, display, and moderate it in order to run the platform.

10. Liability

The platform is provided as available. We are not liable for organizer conduct, campaign outcomes, or payment-network downtime, except where Dutch law does not allow that limit. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the platform commission we actually received on the gifts directly tied to that claim in the prior twelve months, unless mandatory law says otherwise.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Courts of The Hague have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date above is the effective date of this version. Questions: Support or info@donoryhelp.org. Related: Privacy Policy.
